The rules we both agree to follow.
These Terms govern your use of NairaFunded's evaluation and funded trading programs. By purchasing a challenge or accessing our platform you accept these Terms in full — please read them carefully before funding an account.
Welcome to NairaFunded (the "Platform"), operated by NFT Resources Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and NairaFunded and govern your access to and use of our services, including the evaluation program, funded trading accounts, payouts, and any related software, APIs, or documentation.
By creating an account, purchasing a challenge, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Platform. You represent and warrant that:
You are a resident of a jurisdiction where participation in proprietary trading evaluation programs is permitted. It is your sole responsibility to confirm the legality of your participation under the laws of your country of residence.
You are not a resident of, and are not accessing the Platform from, any jurisdiction we have restricted, including (but not limited to) the United States of America, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.
You are not currently on any sanctions list, embargo list, or otherwise prohibited from receiving financial services.
You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated. Failure to do so may result in suspension, termination, or forfeiture of funds.
2. Know-Your-Customer (KYC) & Identity Verification
We are required by Nigerian law and international anti-money-laundering (AML) standards to verify the identity of every trader before processing a payout. You agree to provide, upon request, the following:
A valid government-issued photo ID (national ID card, international passport, driver's license, or voter's card).
Proof of address dated within the last three months (utility bill, bank statement, or tenancy agreement).
A clear photograph of yourself holding the ID (a "selfie verification") for high-value or flagged accounts.
A valid Bank Verification Number (BVN) issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria for payouts denominated in Naira.
KYC is performed at our discretion, including before the first payout, before any change of payout bank account, and periodically during the life of your account. Failure to complete KYC within 14 days of a request will result in payouts being paused until verification is complete.
- Valid government photo ID
- Proof of address (under 3 months old)
- Selfie holding the ID for flagged accounts
- BVN for any Naira-denominated payout
3. The Evaluation Program
The evaluation program is the entry point to becoming a NairaFunded trader. Upon purchasing a challenge you receive login credentials to a MetaTrader 5 (MT5) account loaded with simulated capital. You must demonstrate profitable risk-managed trading by meeting the program parameters disclosed at the point of purchase (currently: an 8-10% profit target, a 5% daily loss limit, a 10% maximum trailing drawdown, a 3-minute minimum hold, and at least one trade every 72 hours).
The evaluation account is operated in a simulated environment. There is no real market exposure and no real capital at risk during the evaluation phase. All prices are sourced from our liquidity providers and may differ marginally from the prices on your broker's platform.
Passing the evaluation does not guarantee a funded account. We reserve the right to decline progression based on behaviour we deem inconsistent with the spirit of the program, including (but not limited to) exploitative strategy patterns, copy-trading, or coordinated trading across multiple accounts.
4. The Funded Account Program
Successful evaluation graduates are invited to operate a funded account. Funded accounts are operated on the same simulated environment and same MT5 platform as the evaluation. The funded account carries the same risk parameters as the evaluation; the profit target is removed, and a profit split (currently 70% to the trader / 30% to NairaFunded) applies to net profits above the funded account's starting balance.
Funded accounts remain the property of NairaFunded at all times. You act as an independent contractor trading on behalf of the firm; you are not an employee, partner, or agent of NairaFunded, and nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, joint venture, or partnership.
We may, at our sole discretion and with 30 days' written notice, modify the program parameters applicable to funded accounts. Material changes will be communicated by email and a Platform banner; continued trading after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated parameters.
5. Fees, Refunds & Cancellations
Each challenge carries a one-time fee displayed at the point of purchase. The fee is non-refundable once the first trade on the challenge account has been executed.
If no trade has been executed on the challenge account within 30 days of purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting support. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-14 business days.
The challenge fee is refunded in full on the trader's first profit payout from the funded account, as a goodwill gesture. This refund is applied as a credit against the payout amount; it does not constitute a separate transaction.
We do not charge subscription fees, inactivity fees, performance fees on losing accounts, or any other recurring or hidden charges. The complete fee schedule is published at /shop and forms part of these Terms.
6. Profit Splits & Payouts
Funded traders are eligible to request a payout once net profit on the funded account reaches 10% above the starting balance. Each payout cycle is capped at 50% of the starting balance; the account then resets to the starting balance and trading continues.
Payouts are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦) to a bank account in your name. We support payouts to any Nigerian commercial bank via PalmPay-powered transfer. International bank accounts are not supported at this time.
We guarantee payout processing within 24 hours of a valid request. For withdrawals of ₦100,000 or less we guarantee processing within 30 minutes during Nigerian business hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm WAT); if we miss the 30-minute window we credit an additional 10% of the payout amount as compensation.
We reserve the right to withhold a payout pending KYC verification, fraud review, or investigation of suspicious trading activity. Where a payout is withheld we will provide a written explanation within 7 business days.
7. Prohibited Trading Strategies
The following strategies are prohibited on both evaluation and funded accounts. Violation of these restrictions is grounds for immediate account termination without refund:
Latency arbitrage, including placing orders based on time delays between our price feed and other brokers.
High-frequency trading strategies that place and cancel orders at a rate exceeding 5 round-trips per second, averaged over any 60-second window.
Tick-scalping strategies that exploit pricing errors or short-lived misquotes on our feed.
Custodial copy-trading via MAM/PAMM accounts or any arrangement where a third party controls the account.
Hedging across multiple NairaFunded accounts to circumvent the maximum drawdown limit (for example, taking opposite positions on two accounts owned by the same trader).
Using any exploit, bug, or undocumented feature of the MT5 platform or our infrastructure to gain an unfair advantage.
The list above is not exhaustive. We may add new restrictions as new threats emerge; additions take effect immediately and apply to all open accounts.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, brand assets, software, documentation, and design elements on the Platform are the property of NairaFunded or our licensors and are protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Platform content without our prior written consent. You may not use our brand, logo, or name in any advertising, marketing, or promotional material without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any original content you create while using the Platform (for example, screenshots of your trading performance posted on social media). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such content for marketing and promotional purposes, subject to a takedown request via support@nairafunded.com.
9. Disclaimers & No Warranty
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including (but not limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Platform is free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data, pricing, or news content delivered through the Platform.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. We are not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner. The decision to trade — and the responsibility for any resulting gains or losses — rests entirely with you.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, NairaFunded, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including (but not limited to) loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Platform.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of, or any inability to use, the Platform exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₦100,000, whichever is lower.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Nigerian law, including (but not limited to) liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NairaFunded, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
Your access to or use of the Platform;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights;
Any claim that your trading activity caused damage to a third party;
Any claim arising from your breach of any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate, at your expense, with our defence of those claims.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for any reason including (but not limited to):
Material breach of these Terms;
Reasonable suspicion of fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activity;
Failure to complete KYC within 14 days of a request;
Trading activity that, in our sole judgement, violates the spirit of the program or threatens the integrity of the Platform.
On termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Pending payout requests will be honoured unless the termination was for fraud or material breach, in which case all pending payouts are forfeited.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Account closure does not relieve you of any obligation accrued before closure, including (but not limited to) outstanding fees, indemnity obligations, and dispute resolution.
13. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address and by a Platform banner at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Non-material changes (typographical corrections, clarification of existing provisions) may be made without prior notice.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account closure in accordance with Section 12.
The current version of these Terms is always available at /terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates when the most recent changes were made.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration administered by the Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA) under its commercial arbitration rules in force at the time.
The seat of arbitration shall be Lagos, Nigeria. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator. The award rendered by the arbitrator shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Notwithstanding the above, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.
